ECM Technology

ECM technology has been designed to enable products made from polyethylene (PE) to degrade into carbon dioxide and water when the plastic is under natural conditions.

Biodegradable trash bags tend to decompose within approximately 2 years, so if an animal gets to them or if they end up in the water, relatively little harm should be caused.

It won't decompose when you throw food scraps in it. And never need double bags to protect against the leakage. You can get the same benefit from biodegradable plastic bags as you would with conventional polyethylene ones.
